Matthew Bender won the seven-figure prize playing the "4,000,000 Mayhem” $10 scratch-off game, according to the state lottery.
Bender took the payment of $650,000 (before taxes) over the annuity.
He bought the ticket at 7-Eleven at 140 Beach St. in Revere. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Two million-dollar prizes are left, and one $4 million payday remains in the "4,000,000 Mayhem” game.
